I plan to hit 530+ in a meet in march. This has been a goal 2.75yrs in the making.

Tony, is your 600lb DL goal straight bar or trap-bar?

Tony,

If you can find 'em (or convince your girlfriend to pickle her own), give pickled beets a go..............very tasty.

Vis-a-vis stretching, that is always something anyone can use more of, be it populations badly in need of improving flexibility or those simply seeking to prevent the loss of it over time/maintain what they already have. Flexibility seems like one area where efforts to maintain a certain level are less appreciated than others. But once you have it, why risk having to pay for the same real estate twice, right?

Best of luck with all of your goals for 2010!

Nice goals for the new year. I always check mine by making sure they are:

Brussle sprouts are great.. just don't boil them. Olive oil, salt, oven roast, 400 degrees 20-30 minutes. toss in vinegrette (Tsp brown mustard, splash of lime juice, pinch of salt, whisk in 1/3 cup olive oil)
You will like them.
Let me know of any other ingredients you're leery of, and I will send you a recipe.

There is a great recipe for spaghetti squash in the New Rules of Lifting for Women...not sure if it is in both "New Rules" books. The squash essentially takes the place of the pasta with a great meat and veggie topping. I drunkin' up the topping with a splash of white wine. The whole fam damily scarfs it down.
